Tip 1) Write your essay on a Google Docs or Word document. Once it is exactly the way you want it, copy and paste into Common App.
Tip 2) Use single spacing
Tip 3) Use a simple, 12 point font for your entire essay.
Tip 4) Common App does NOT allow indentations. You will need to leave an extra space between paragraphs.
Tip 5) Common App allows italics. Be sure you know when to use them: foreign language words, titles, and dialogue.
Tip 6) Common App allows bold and underline, but do not use them or emojis or #.
