Searching for Scholarships?

The best resources for scholarship opportunities can be found in your high school guidance office. Many local businesses and organizations offer scholarships to high school students. You can first check with PTSO, Optimist Club, local doctors, etc.

If you already know what you want to study, try finding companies that support your major. For instance, if you're interested in Criminal Justice, you could explore the local police department.

Once you get accepted into a college or university, they'll provide you with information about scholarships available from their institution. Keep in mind that scholarship application deadlines usually come quickly, often in February. So, you should start working on your application as early as possible.

Don't forget to ask your parents if they have any resources through their work or company.

When applying for scholarships, you may be able to reuse essays you've already written for your college applications. This can save you time and effort.

Lastly, you can use websites like Niche.com and Goingmerry.com to help you find scholarships.

Best of luck, Nicole
